Hard Work And Perfection

This piece was created as #5 out of 9 of a polyptych called “Motherly Duties.”

This piece was created to show the expectations and standards women had for the look of their house. They were supposed to keep the house in tip-top shape as if it was unlived in, even after being a wife, a mother, and a maid.

This work was completed on a 9in by 9in by 2in wooden panel in 2024.
