Baby Machine

This piece was created as #6 out of 9 of a polyptych called “Motherly Duties.”

This piece was made to show the expectations they had to live by to get married, have children, and be a wife. In doing this, a ‘wifely duty’ back then was to have the children and raise them for the man/husband.

This work was completed on a 9in by 9in by 2in wooden panel in 2024.
