Inches Matter
This piece was created as #2 out of 9 of a polyptych called “Motherly Duties.”
This panel was created to show the confining and toxic physical beauty standards that women abided by in the 1940’s-60’s. These mostly had to do with weight, watching pounds, what they ate, and creating a toxic relationship with media and food for themselves, unknowingly.
This work was completed on a 9in by 9in by 2in wooden panel in 2024.
